Declaration on the situation in Georgia

The Baltic Assembly,


concerned about continuing tension in the relations between Georgia and the Russian Federation, which is increasingly escalating after the military aggression by the Russian Federation against Georgia and occupation of a part of its territory, just over one year ago, in August 2008;

Adoption of Joint Statement of GUAM Parliamentary Assembly and Baltic Assembly

On 26-28 November 2009 the Sessions of the Baltic Assembly and the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs were held in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Parliamentary Delegation of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM also participated at the Sessions headed by the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, H.E. Mr. David Bakradze.
