GUAM Secretary General participates in international expert roundtable

On July 3, 2014, the Secretary General of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM, Mr. Valeri Chechelashvili, participated in the international expert roundtable “Current state of Ukrainian-Turkish Relations: Challenges and Opportunities”, which was organised with support from the NSDC Office, the Embassy of Turkey in Ukraine, and also the GUAM Secretariat.

On July 2, 2014, a meeting between the Secretary General of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM Mr. V.Chechelashvili and the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Sul Kyung Hoon was held at the premises of the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv.

GA UN adopted Resolution "Status of internally displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia..."

On June 5, 2014, General Assembly of the United Nations adopted Resolution "Status of internally displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia, and the Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia, Georgia". Resolution passed by recorded vote of 69 in favour, 13 against and 79 Abstentions.
